Italian Opera Arias

South African baritone, Theo Magongoma and pianist Danie Fourie present a concert of Italian Opera Arias set to libretti based on famous historical plays. Theo graduated with BMus Hons in Vocal Performance from the University of Cape Town and is currently completing his MMus at Stellenbosch University. A former member of the Cape Town Opera Studio, Theo has been the recipient of numerous prizes as well as winning two prestigious scholarships, one from Queensland Opera and a Bruce Foote Scholarship from Meadows School of the Arts, Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. The concert features works by Leoncavallo, Puccini and Verdi.
