Description
Die Vlieënde Koffer is a contemporary adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's classic fairy tale. A young man travels with a flying suitcase to a magical world. The combination of live actors and the enchanting world of silhouette animation illustrates a story that is timeless and fitting for a contemporary audience. Students from the Drama department of Stellenbosch University joined forces to bring this extraordinary experience to the screen. This production is a tribute to the groundbreaking work of Lotte Reiniger, who made the first animated film.
